WORDS OF FRAGRANCE

If one is often able to describe a painting or sculpture, to comment on a book, an opera, it was often difficult for lack of a vocabulary of its own to convey the emotion can inspire fragrance.

One often hears descriptions like:

That is cool ! means very often, it's fresh, not looking cool technique, but it just feels good, it's sweet !!

I find it too sour, bitter, my throat, it stings ! when a test is a bit too citrus !

It's hard! it's heavy, apparently does not like the smell ! this requires a special ability to develop fragrances that are not close to your own taste and universe !

It is spicy ! even though technically there is no spice, to mean that this fragrance has character !

It smells like a baby !! induces a strong presence of white musk and orange blossom. It smells quite positive and appreciated, when there is an overdose of musk !

Odor similar to that of washing soap or detergent !! which may be an overdose of dihydromyrcenol or simply too musky scent !

It smell sweet, hot milk, marshmallows, cake from the oven !! easy to fix in the fragrance, vanillin, vanilla or veltol  that can give this side raspberry and caramel !

It smells like old! or the old book, smell dryer "smell itchy" very nasal! Impression given by iridescent notes too, and woody, but too conventional violet, mimosa can also evoke this aspect rough and antiquated. Mimosa is an essence  difficult  to work with !

It is essential to understand what lies behind the words sometimes raw and ask the right questions to deepen the meaning of the remarks.
