WORDS OF FRAGRANCE

If one is often able to describe a painting or sculpture, to comment on a book, an opera, it was often difficult for lack of a vocabulary of its own to convey the emotion can inspire fragrance.

Odor similar to that of washing soap or detergent !! which may be an overdose of dihydromyrcenol or simply too musky scent !

It smell sweet, hot milk, marshmallows, cake from the oven !! easy to fix in the fragrance, vanillin, vanilla or veltol  that can give this side raspberry and caramel !

It smells like old! or the old book, smell dryer "smell itchy" very nasal! Impression given by iridescent notes too, and woody, but too conventional violet, mimosa can also evoke this aspect rough and antiquated. Mimosa is an essence  difficult  to work with !

It is essential to understand what lies behind the words sometimes raw and ask the right questions to deepen the meaning of the remarks.

I was in a medical clinic to receive vaccination against influenza. There were many people of all ages. When my turn came to receive the vaccine, I sat near the nurse who administered them. After greeting me, the first thing she told me with a look delighted : ''You smell very good. It's great to have you near me. "I felt like she was cruising me.

Although this is not the first time, it's always fun when you get a compliment like that. I thought the cologne that I use  ACQUA DI GIO. Yesterday, it was Halloween day with the smell of a roaring bonfire , sweet sugar and spice and more than a measure or two of spectral surprise.  It reminded me of the arome of some perfumes that I had the opportunity to discover during my travels. Smell is the faculty that enables us to distinguish scents.

Yesterday, I enjoyed the costumes and the variety of colors and scents. Unfortunately, I also met some people who do not smell good. I though to suggest them to use a perfume or cologne, but I restrained myself because I didn’t want to insult them. I'm sure I'm not alone in having such encounters. This is not the first time and I know that it will not last.

Many people are deprived of this benefit of smelling the fragrance they like by using a perfume that suits their personality and their mood, because they find perfumes, fragrances and cologne too expensive. They were partly right. The average price of the fragrances found in shops is more than $ 70 and even over $ 100 for designer fragrances.
